<<< Retour           The Economical Dock Door Alternative. The Bantam roll door is an economical fabric door alternative to high maintenance overhead dock doors. With the same crisp lines and fabric selection as our popular PredaDoor®, it looks great too. It can also be used for interior or exterior applications with low traffic volume. With manual operation standard via a pull-chain hoist, the Bantam can also be motorized for pushbutton open and closing if desired. Visibility – Provided by standard 17 inch by 17 inch replaceable PVC vision panel. Full-width vision panel is optional. Takes a Hit –Break-Away™ tabs can be reset in just seconds. Easy Installation – Modular construction allows for quick and easy installation. Simple Operation – Chain hoist and speed governor make for easy manual door operation. Minimal Space – Only 6-1/4 inches of side clearance and 3-3/4 inches of frontal projection required. Wind Resistance – Integral panel connecting ribs provide resistance to wind and negative pressure. Door Panel: Standard door panel system includes 32 ounce vinyl material with 17 inch by 17 inch replaceable PVC window panel and two windbars. 32 ounce vinyl also available with optional full-width vision panel and two windbars. Two optional 2-ply Rilon™ door panel systems also available: 17 inch by 17 inch window and one windbar; or 2-ply Rilon with fullwidth vision panel and two windbars. Side Frames: Fully bolt-together, anodized aluminum construction with full height weather seal to seal against panel material. Manual Drive System: Manually operated up and down by use of chain hoist and speed governor. Optional Powered Drive System: Optional motorized version available. Includes 1/3 HP, 115 volt, single-phase door operator with constant pressure switch. Bottom Bar: Break-Away™ extruded aluminum bottom bar with vinyl seal on bottom edge. Sliding locks on bottom bar standard. Warranty: One-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Panel Support Assembly Integral connecting ribs allow easy replacement of individual panels, including optional screens, while providing stiff resistance against wind and negative pressure. Replaceable Window Panels – Velcro™-sealed PVC window panels can be replaced quickly and easily. Break-Away™ Bottom Bar – Simple tabs on bottom bar allow door to be reset in seconds – without tools – after Bantam takes a hit.
