The Clean-Roll door is the only high-speed door designed specifically for food processing, pharmaceutical and clean-room applications. In fact, none other than the renowned independent testing agency, Underwriter’s Laboratories® (U.L.), certifies that the Clean-Roll exceeds the most comprehensive and stringent hygienic standards in the world – a combination of USDA, FDA, NSF and ISO standards.

Completely wash down with all metal components fabricated of stainless steel, it is chock full of hygienic design features that make it the natural choice for applications that demand absolute cleanliness. Plus, the Clean-Roll provides all the maintenance, efficiency and productivity benefits you’d expect from a high-speed door.

 Hygienic - Classified by the premier independent testing agency, Underwriters Laboratories, to meet USDA hygienic standards for meat and poultry applications. Entire door is washdown – yet its design virtually eliminates potential sites for water collection or germ manifestation.

Takes a Hit – Clean-Break™ breakaway tabs allow bottom bar to be reset — without tools — in a matter of seconds.

Model:
Rytec® Clean-Roll®

Standard Size:
Up to 10 feet wide and 10 feet high. (For larger door openings, please consult factory.)

Door Panel:
USDA and FDA compliant, urethane coated, 2-ply multifilament white panel material standard.

Side Frames:
Fully-bolt together, 304 stainless steel side frames with #2B finish. 304 stainless, #4 finish covers can be removed for easy cleaning and washdown. One set NEMA 4X thru-beam electric photo eyes internally mounted in sideframe, one set field installed.

Head Assembly:
Stainless steel roll drum with stainless piano hinge connects to fabric. No excess fabric on drum when door is in the closed position, reducing bacteria build-up. When door is switched to “cleaning mode” drum rotates an additional quarter revolution to allow for fast and easy cleaning. Hinged drip guard fully encloses drum assembly and swings out of way, providing full access during washdown.

Bottom Bar:
Break-Away™ stainless steel bottom bar releases in either direction without damage to the door. Standard dual cut-off switches shut off motor when bottom bar is impacted. Pneumatic auto-reversing edge is standard. Run-off trough on bottom bar prevents water and other liquids from collecting where bar and fabric connect. No exposed junction box on bottom bar.

Drive System:
Three-phase, variable-speed AC Drive with food-grade, wash-down motor provides soft acceleration and deceleration. Independent opening and closing speeds provide flexibility to meet any application. Motor and electrical components are factory wired to junction boxes in the head assembly.

Travel Speed:
Opens at up to 40 inches per second.

Electrical Controls:
System 3™ controller is housed in a stainless steel NEMA 4X rated enclosure with factory-set parameters. Self-diagnostic features and two-line, 32-character LCD display provide quick and straightforward installation and control adjustments. Programmable inputs and outputs accommodate special control applications without additional electrical components.

Activation:
Available activation includes, but is not limited to: floor loops, pull cords, motion detectors, remote push-buttons, radio control or photo eyes.

Warranty:
One-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship.

Stainless steel side column covers are removable for easy, thorough washdown.



A replaceable pneumatic reversing edge reverses the door upward upon contact with anything in its closing path.
